Our charter goes back to 1930, so we are not new to the area.
If you think you might have visited us at one time, we have been located on Bank Street, Blackhall Street, on Union Street
in the Union Hall, on Moore Court, and at the Zbierski House and Best Western in Groton. After a year of not having a permanent
home, we were fortunate to find 11 Freedom Way in Niantic. We have since moved to a new temporary home at the Sleep Inn just
off Exit 74. Click on Directions to see how easy it is.
Those who join our church have a tendency to stay. Our beloved
Ella Fargo, who has passed to spirit, was a member for about 60 years. In fact, 6 of her relatives are listed on our original
charter.
Al Ferency was a member for over 30 before he passed to Spirit in
2003.
We are a friendly church with devoted, active members.
